We sold our house to cash buyers, suppose to take 4 weeks took 8. We never had our visa either. We moved out of our home on the 5th October, visa come through on the 13th October. We sent our furniture off a head of us (couldn't ship it off until we had our visa) and stayed with family. We finally moved to the Gold Coast on the 5th January and our furniture arrived in December, as it was Christmas week it wasn't cleared until middle of January. Just in time for our rental. Now enjoying all the Gold Coast has to offer.

Hi Tony,
I think we all experience that sort of feeling, not that that is any consolation to you!!!
We sold the house before we had the visa!!!!! Have got the visa now and just waiting for our 16 year old to finish his GCSE's.Now we are going through the 'are we doing the right thing!!'
All the best, stick with it, J and J
