Default Painting

Advise needed please!!!
I am trying desperately hard to paint a wall with a paint pad brought over from the UK and the paint seems to thick to give an even coating. I am using British Paints and they reckon that you only need 2 coats - yeah right!
Is it the paint or are pads not suitable for the paint out here??????

Like this:?

Alsmost certainly not recommended.

Follow directions on container - almost certainly will suggest use of a roller:

I can't use a roller as it will splash on the lolly pop pink beams

How well will a brush work? and will i notice the differance if the walls are painting using differant methods?

Only splash if you roll to quickly or with too much paint on roller.

Brush OK but needs skill. Acrylic paint does not level as well ar oil paint.

Thanks for that. I guess that I had better go and dust off the roller!!

Does mean that I have to clean a pad as well as a roller though - bugger
