Help!!!!!
Have got visas at long last and hoping to land on WA turf in November 06. Hubbie is a painter and decorator and knows he has to register in WA before he can work.
The Registration Boards website is not clear on info for migrants. Are there different types of registrations depending on your experience, is there an exam, or is it just a course without a pass or fail?? What do these courses or exams entail exactly? Any info would be really useful.
Anyone other painters arriving in Mandurah about the same time? Perhaps arrange a meet?

Hi, hope you are settling into Oz, i note from your last message you were getting there in Nov?
We sent our SIR Visa application off in November and still waiting for a Case Officer! We are hoping to go to Mandurah and my Husband is a painter & decorator!!!!!
I wondered if you could give me any info on the amount of jobs in Peel region for this work and what salary he can expect to get?? It says that decorators are in demand but we cant seem to find any vancancies on the internet and no info on salaries.
