Hi All,

I'm currently plotting on where to live versus where I will be working, my OH will be in the CBD.

I'm trying to workout the trip time from Paddington to Lane Cove on the north side via car, during office hours, leaving paddington 7h30am and leaving Lane Cove to return 6pm-ish.

Any ideas would be helpful.

Going in should be a breeze and probably about 30 mins at most. Coming home at that time means you hit the Harbour tunnel or bridge at its worst. Traffic backs up all the way from the otherside of the ED to past North Sydney. Probably 50 mins. I used to do Bondi to North Ryde so at least you are missing out on the traffic hell that North Ryde has become.

Also thinking about Milsons Point on the other side of the Bridge.

It would be a lot more boring to live at but it would save you at least 20 mins getting home at the worst of peak hour.
