packsend feedback please etc
 

Was wondering if anyone used packsend before and how they found them as a service,not to pack anything but for sending parcels,i have some items,gifts,personal stuff i want to send back to uk from australia that i have purchased and no longer need and the box is too big for normal au post,but packsend can do it for me,there top prices are way,way high but they gave me this one which sounds good and pretty cheap as well considering the prices of others they had its called global mail,which is 7-14 days by air and its handed into royal mails hands once in uk which will deliver to my door,as one of my items is a little bigger and thats why the box is a little bigger and cant be sent with au post,they said no matter how big the box was they global mail goes by weight.
So having this no size box things works out better for me,even if i went and did two smaller boxes with au post this would work out costly and i still would have the trouble with the larger item.
I just wondered if anyone had used them and if so a lot to send stuff back to uk as one thing worries me its got no tracking and the items are not insured,they are worth about if i remember right about $400 or say 180 pounds in value,which i would not want to go missing,well more so as these are gifts for family members and also for myself,but the costs involved with others i think would be costly.
Do i take the chance i have looked to see if i can find feedback about this service and with these guys and cant find anything and want to know if i am using right method.
Also do i list each item,pretty much down to what they are in side of just be very blunt as would not want to many people knowing whats inside as that draws attention,i was going to put on personal items,clothing gifts etc,would you say i get away with vat,duty on them if i mention that,rather than what each item is.
As really some of the items would be my own anyway just sending back home,i have sent things like this before when i oz 2004 and no vat/duty was paid i think it depends on your luck.
Should i value them less incase i do get these charges and from the values above what would my costs be to them,or should i value them full prices of items inside not that it matters as if no insurance with this service i would get nothing back??
I plan on arranging to send these back home in the coming days any feedback on this service and company would be great.
