i cant believe im packing again already :scared: it only seems like five minutes ago since we packed all our worldly goods and sent them half way around the world and here we go again but this time in the heat of an aussie summer...not a good move really....but then thats our choice...personally cant wait to get into our very own place again,renting is just not the same well ive been packing all week,and cant believe the stuff ive accumulated since we ve been here,ive got boxes everywhere,the house is an absolute bomb site and we ve had a least 2 viewers on the house each day this week,our landlady tells me today that shes had an offer on the house....yipppppppeeeeeeeee,we wont be liable for any rent,as we re breaking our lease.....just goes to show though,all these months ive been rushing around tidying up and putting things away to make it nice when she shows the viewers around,and the one week its a tip,she sells it lol,why bother cleaning up anyway!!!!
We move on tuesday...cant wait to go and choose paint and put pictures up on the walls ect,and choose my pool,,,bring it on

lol dont be in a hurry to get a job,most people i no who ve rushed into it have had problems settling in,it takes time to find your way around and thats not so easy when your at owrk.

good to hear things are going well,might get to actually meet you if your going to the gold coast meet in a couple of weeks

You'll be pleased that its supposed to be a lot cooler this week. Last week was a real stonker as you obviously know. We went to visit the Wivenhoe / Somerset dam but couldn't muster up the enthusiasm to get out of the car - it was 40 degrees in the shade! Glad I don't live out Ipswich way.

Have you seen the pool with the cave like spa at Hawkins nursery on the Old Cleveland road? Its to die for. If we can't get this dam swim spa craned or helicoptered over the house then we might have to reconsider our options. Decision time should be Monday - we're hoping for a cheaper crane quote - the helicopter option is making me nervous!!

Anyway - we'll be waiting for the housewarming drink..... all the best for Tuesday.

hiya guys
thanks for all your replies its been a bit cooler today,although still hot to be working to hard got a load more done.bloody hell :scared: did we have a job getting the fridge freezer down the balcony stairs,something to think about if your going to get a high set,it took 4 of us all our time to get it down the stairs and we nearly dropped the bloody thing,poor gary ended up sitting on the stairs with it leaning on his back and going down the stairs on his bum!with us all hanging on for dear life!!!made it in the end though...phew
we re moving to cleveland ,which is only 15 mins from where we live now,theres a lovely little town and a nice marina with plenty of cafe bars and eateries the.....lovely.
we ve been given quotes so far anything between 20 and 30 thousand dollars for a pool,its depends on what you want,although we have been told that if we wait until the winter we should get about a third off the price cos they all want the business ib the winter,but as soon as we get in we ll start getting all and sundry in to give us quotes for all sorts of pools then we can pick their brains and get ideas,might have to make to with a paddling pool until then,
house warming party,lol,i ll let you know,well def have to sort one out,although we have got an 18th in march,but thats a bit long to wait

Netta mate,any help would be gratefully recieved,even if its just for a couple of hours,its gonna be a long day me thinks i ll make sure the first thing to go back into the friadge is the beers

Glad things are going well. Thanks for the info re pools. Will keep an eye out for your posts. Do people tend to have the dosh to pay for these up front or do they get loans etc?
