Hi can anyone who has sent tools over to OZ please give info on how clean they have to be I have various hand tools none of them new & several power tools also none new, how clean do they have to be oh I also have a chain saw thats not new! I've jet washed them with jeyes fluid on them, bleached them, but some still look a bit tatty!
Any one been through this with any advise? Please

From previous threads on here I think you have done all you can! I'm sure they will be fine. At least you won't be charged for items less than 6 months old

Hi, we stripped all tools down to the motor and cleaned them, by hand, to within an inch of their lives!!!!

The packers said we had done an ace job but probably would have been ok if we hadn't tried that hard.

The way I see it - -no fumigation charges = happy people.

Tools feel like they have had a refurb and a service = happy tools.

However - -the bloody things might never work again!!!!! :scared: lol

thanks, we are using john mason did they have extra packaging or the exact amount? Who have you booked tickets with if you don't mind me asking I'm on with it now but would feel better if i could just talk to some one to buy plane tickets rather than through the internet!

did you jeyes on tools, is there a special jeyes for this purpose - the only jeyes i've seen in asda is for paths and drives so is there one for garden equipment and tools. Sorry if this sounds daft but need to know.
