Packers coming next week
Hi can anyone who has sent tools over to OZ please give info on how clean they have to be I have various hand tools none of them new & several power tools also none new, how clean do they have to be oh I also have a chain saw thats not new! I've jet washed them with jeyes fluid on them, bleached them, but some still look a bit tatty!
Any one been through this with any advise? Please

From previous threads on here I think you have done all you can! I'm sure they will be fine. At least you won't be charged for items less than 6 months old

The packers said we had done an ace job but probably would have been ok if we hadn't tried that hard.
The way I see it - -no fumigation charges = happy people.
Tools feel like they have had a refurb and a service = happy tools.
However - -the bloody things might never work again!!!!! :scared: lol

p.s. we are not there yet so can't comment on the customs thingy.
