Talking Pacific Pines

I know I know I know......

No one can tell us what its really like, we will have to make our minds up when we get there..

But anyone there already can give us info on schools, sports and the usual would be great.

Dicko got your info already !!

Thanks in advance..

Hi Nick,

It's a nice area, good schools, shops and you will find all kinds of sports in every area here, it really does depend what you like, Pac Pines is a pretty new area and still growing in size. It's only 15 mins to the beach and 5 mins to the highway so really central for everything, its at the top end of the GC so good commuting distance for brisbane. There are quite a few expats living there now so I'm sure you will get more replies.

As has been said a newish area that is still expanding and has everything you may need. Quite a large Expat contingent and home to the soapsters regular meets at the tavern ( may be not a good selling point ).

We have lived in Pacific Pines since we bought our house in Jan this year.
We love it here. Our 2 sons go to Pac Pines High school and are happy there and from what I hear from friends the Primary is also good. There is a skate park and a lovely lake and playing fields and a great play area for the younger kids. The Tavern is really nice too and they have a courtesy bus that will pick you up from home and take you to the Tavern and when you`re ready to go home just phone it again and get a lift home again and all free of charge. Can`t be bad!
