Ozzy Halloween & Guy Fawkes Night: Anyone?
Did anyone celebrate Halloween or Guy Fawkes/5th November?
We didn't get a single kid knock on our door this year for Halloween, I was mildy surprised...We got a few last year though!

When was mischievous night in the uk?
Used to go out and be naughty with my hollowed out swede or turnip when I was little ... which was a few years ago now.

We have just had a bonfire party (small fire) homemade treacle toffee and sparklers for all the children, it was excellent and a good time was had by all, non of the dreaded fireworks though.

When we were in Oz, Halloween was not celebrated, and Guy Fawkes (5 Nov) is a UK tradition not international - the only time we had fireworks in Aus was to celebrate the Queen's Birthday (Commonwealth B'day at that - around 10 June). However, the retailing of Fireworks was banned in Aus some years ago.
