OZ PR Skilled migrant visa-And staying in New Zealand

OZ PR Skilled migrant visa-And staying in New Zealand
Probably a stupid question but we are travelling to OZ on a PR skilled migrant visa on the 1st June. As a family we were always torn between Australia and New Zealand but plumped for Australia. If we decide we don`t like Oz does our PR Visa entitle us to stay in NZ and the time we stay in NZ does it count towards us getting our RRV and Australian citizenship.
Any help would be appreciated.

No problem at all
you get NZ PR on arrival
this the advantage of Oz PR but
time in Nz doesn't count for OZ

Simplest solution is to get your Australian citizenship first. With an Australian passport you can live in NZ for as long as you like, and even become an NZ citizen in due course. Under current laws anyway.
Best to sort out your Australian citizenship before you even think of moving.
