Oz petrol prices
A friend has just sent me this website :
www.fuelwatch.wa.gov.au
it allows you to find the cheapest petrol prices in WA.
Don't know if you'll find it helpful or not but it also lets you know if there's going to be a price hike the next day !!
Every cent counts

Fuel has gone down quite a bit; I'd hardly noticed until the other day.

[QUOTE=JaneandJim]Queensland has the lowest fuel tax in Oz (or at least one of the lowest). Its much more expensive in WA.

You can't get much lower that no state fuel tax at all in Qld.

No, but its possible that another state could also have zero rate tax and then it would also be one of the lowest.

www.motormouth.com.au gives you petrol prices for most capital cities. Allows youto search by area, brand, or just plain cheapest.

Re: Oz petrol prices
What's annoying is the huge gap between petrol and diesel. When we arrived diesel was on average 5 cents cheaper than petrol, three yrs later petrol is 99 cents per litre [95c with a voucher] diesel is still $1.19. Thats a dollar per gallon difference or $14 bucks a tank. Rip off petrochemical companies.
