Default Is an OZ open bike licence recognised in the UK?

Hi.

I've just got my Queensland R open motorbike licence and I was wondering if this would be recognised in the UK and whether or not I would still have to go through CBT to get my UK licence?

Cheers.

If you're going to Great Britain, I suggest a look at the DVLA website: http://www.dvla.gov.uk

Northern Ireland has a different licensing authority, as do the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.
