Default OZ in March/April...

Hi Guys...

Am after a bit of advice...we are planning to validate our visa next year in about March/April/May time but are trying to decide on the best time...after April 16th Flights are really cheap but not sure how the weather is going to be.

We are planning to go to Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and possibly Darwin. I understand that the weather is wildly different in the different parts of Oz but just want to know whether its worth paying the extra to go late March early April or stick with April/May.

Any advice much appreciated.

You might want to check when Easter is next year. Either that is your best time to fly because you have kids at school, or you have no kids and would prefer to avoid the Easter crowds! Also holiday accommodation over the Easter period may be more expensive ie "peak" rates.

Good point....dont care about it be stinking hot, just being 'able to lounge on beach' type weather (although I suspect that Melbourne will be a bit chilly for this) and not being caught up in monsoon's.

I'm planning on going to Melbourne around the March/April time, was there in March this year and the weather was around 20-25 most days
