Question OZ here we come....with a little help?

Hi All,

We've received our Permanent Residency Visa. Yeah!!
Still undecided, so we're planning on a trip in Feb 2011 for a final recon mission. Once we go back home, if we decide to move it's all systems go!

Couple of quick questions:

1. Do I need to get my medicard in my Feb trip, or wait till we actually move?
2. Similary should I open a bank account now or not?

Is there any paperwork I should do when I get there? or does it all need to be done when we finally move.

Many thanks!!
Raj

No need to do any of that on a validation trip, just enjoy the holiday.

Just booked our flights. Can't wait.

Have a great Christmas and Happy New Year.

If the weather forecasters are correct, might be the last time we experience a white Christmas. Don't suppose you get much snow at Christmas!!

We're heading back to the UK for Christmas, to see friends and family, already looking forward to returning to the warmth!
