Oz equivalent of Branston Pickle ?
Can anyone tell me if there is an Oz equivalent of Branston Pickle. If so what is it called ?
I know that you can get small jars of the real stuff, but its quite expensive and I would be happy with a cheaper alternative

Re: Oz equivalent of Branston Pickle ?
I sometimes buy ' Black and Gold' fruit chutney, don't know if the big chains stock it, as I buy it from my little local minimarket, actually, I think I've seen 'Black and Gold' products in Woolworths, maybe. Anyhow, it tastes pretty good, v.simlar to Branston.
That really doesn't help, eh?!

Thanks
I did see some fruit chutney in Woolworths but I assumed it would be like the sweet chutney that you put on curries, I will give it a try
