A quick question: where is the property that will give rise to your CGT liability located?

Best regards.

Hi Alan... ABC's accountant will not deal with over seas clients and as thats what we are so its no good. We live near London UK and are renting our house out when we go to OZ. We also own another property near Cambridge UK which is currently rented out. When we go to Oz this summer to live and hopefully make a good new life these will be our future investments. We need to know the best way in which to place these assets so as to reduce our future Australian CGT when the properties are eventually sold and the money transferred to Australia. I know we won't be liable for it in the UK but if we are sensible now, it will be better for the future, hence the need for sound advice now.
Cheers

If you can send me an email I will send you a questionnaire. Once I have that to hand I can see the issues that are relevant to you, which in turn will enable me to send you a fee proposal ... if this is of interest please send an email to me via alan - at - gomatilda - dot - com

Best regards.
