hi - has anyone done this TOTALLY FROM SCRATCH?
i.e contracting out everthing from the architech drawings down to the gyproc guys etc ?
i know lots of people gone through a home builder (such as t & r homes etc)-where they do everything for you but unfortunately timescales at the moment are about 14mths + we are in a rental & need to move out before that Rentals where we live are very uncommon (we were lucking to get this one- the owners are travelling) so we need to be out by Apr of next year.
We were hoping to get one built to lock up(just outside walls :scared: )then sub con out the building work that needs to be done - i.e walls / kitchen /bathroom/ electrics )
not an ideal situation but one that we are gonna have to do
has anyone else done this??
we have the added stress of being in northam - & none of the house builders will go pass the hills so we can only choose from a handful of builders
