Over 45 ?
Hello
I am a nurse with a positive skills assessment just waiting on our visas.I was talking to a mum at the school gates today who was saying that she and her hubby would love to migrate to Oz and had looked into it on line and thought they were too old (he is just 45).
I said i remembered reading on here somewhere that there are certain occupations that will allow you a visa if you are over 45.She asked me to ask.Does anyone know what i am talking about ?
Thanks
Janice

the RSMS visa has an "exceptional circumstances" safety net, but it means what it implies.
Look at the DIMA website and look up the RSMS visa........we did and im 49, but my wife was 44 when we lodged our application
Good Luck

The mum is a school receptionist-so that s no good.I m sure the dad is a trades person either plumber or builder i think. But it is him that is 45.
I will tell her to have a look on DIMA website and see what she can find out.
Thanks again.
