Our citizenship has been granted!!
Yippeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
Just have to wait for the ceremony then that is it - no more hoops to jump through for Aus Immigration ever, ever again
Here is our timeline for anyone who might be applying now with the new test:
12/10/07 - passed our test!
14/10/07 - meet residency requirement so application lodged
16/10/07 - credit card charged
29/10/07 - proof of identity sent
08/11/07 - approved!
Just have to wait for the ceremony then that is it - no more hoops to jump through for Aus Immigration ever, ever again

Well done Bridie. I'm waiting on my police clearance from the UK but should book myself in for the test sometime soon. I was hoping to get in for Aus Day but that's not going to happen so no hurry now. I'm not going anywhere
