I was just wondering if anyone out there
have children who go to this school or who work there.

I am very impressed with their website, but
if we were offered a place we'd have to accept it
before we have even seen it. This is because all the places
for next year are allocated during March and we're not coming
out until July/August. I've been told that we risk not
getting a place if we don't enrol now!!

The other option is Sheldon college which I have been told
(thanks ABCDiamond) doesn't currently have a waiting list as it is
fairly new and growing.

So I was just looking for some first hand experiences of the
school (good or bad) to help.

Hi Karen,

We lived in Ormiston College Gardens when we were in Brissy. It is a very highly thought of school and we had our little girls name down there for if we had stayed in Oz. Our friends from Newcastle enrolled their daughter there and were very happy with it. It has very good facilities etc. Our neighbour worked in the pre school and spoke very highly of it and her two children also attended there. I didn't get as far as looking round but just from the outside you could tell it was very well maintained. The kids always looked so smart going past in their very distinctive uniforms and hats.
