Ordering from Amazon...not always possible?
I just tried to order this:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/XMI-X-mini-I...9484045&sr=8-1
from Amazon.co.uk as it's $50 here and obviously much cheaper in the UK. 'Computer said no' though, are there some things you're not allowed to order and have shipped to Aussieland? I've asked my brother to get me it and ship it to me instead, am I breaking any laws?! lol

Re: Ordering from Amazon...not always possible?
Amazon do have a complex listing of what they will and won't ship to different territories. You're usually ok with books, CDs and DVDs, but electrical stuff seems to be a no go, as are shoes. I have managed to get an order through for a new squash racquet from Amazon.co.uk, but Amazon.com (US) won't fulfill the same order, (which is a shame, as it's half the price of the UK one, which is 2/3 the price of the Aus one), but there is an awful lot of stuff that they won't ship, which is very disappointing, particularly as we have a free trade agreement with the USA.
I have not had any success with Play.com shipping to Aus. Try www.cdwow.co.uk instead.

Failing that, get someone to send it out to you from the UK.

Yes, it's electronic stuff - we tried to get some compact flash cards (soooo expensive here!) and they wouldn't ship them. So did it the old fashioned way ordered them from another place in Jersey to my Mum's, she packaged them up and sent them here!

You could use US-based proxy shipping companies to accept the goods and forward on to you.
