Default Options for initial accommodation in Sydney

We are a family of 3 from Bangladesh, planning on moving to Sydney in next few months on a 176 visa. From what I read around here, Sydney rental market is quite tight now and it may take a while to find an accommodation. I was wondering what could be some of the temporary accommodation options before I find a more permanent place?

You definitely won't find a permanent rental before you get here. You will need some temporary accommodation for about two or three weeks in all probability.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment at the Fraser Suites on Kent Street in the CBD, that was quite nice.

I believe this site www.stayz.com.au is good for short term rentals. Or otherwise look for holiday lets.
