Only 4 days to go.......b4 we're off....
Monday Morning 8am we set off on our new life....... :scared:
Me & Purple Swatch along with Blaine,fly to Florida for 10 days b4 jetting to Brissie.
I left work on Friday & it's Debs last day today
. Leaving do's on Saturday, 
just seem to be treading water @ the minute.
To all those still waiting, good luck and hang on in there your time will soon arrive.

Once we're settled we'll post an update.

Keep us updated its always nice to hear other peoples views...... We are hoping to do Florida first too did you find it really expensive????

Flights from Manchester to London.
London to Orlando
10 Days car hire.
Miami to LA
LA to Brisbane.
£ 2500 for 3 of us.
We booked with American Express who were excellent.
We booked an hotel in Orlando opposite the gates to Magic Kingdom for £24 a night online.

Are there any regular get togethers of expats in Brissie ??????
As we don't have friends & family out there it would be great to meet some of you fine people.

Pollyanna organises an evening out in Brisbane town every few weeks [again check the site]
ABCDiamond and MrsDagboy organise Expat meetings often around the Bayside.They are availabe via this link:

There are regular meets of people but I wouldn't go as far as to say "fine".
They are all a bit loopy IMO.
