Default online street maps of Melbourne

Does anyone know of any site that you can put in a suburb or street name, and it gives you a decent street map. I'm interested in Melbourne. Something like streetmap.co.uk for Oz. I've looked loads of places and only come up with this -www.whereis.com.au - which isn't great !

I'm researching apartments, and it would be useful to be able to know where they are.

thanks
Jo

Hello Jo.

I've not found any online maps of Melbourne apart from those you can obtain via whereis.com.au - so you might need to buy a street atlas, which you can buy online via this link:

Hope this helps.

Hi Percy P.

From memory, (going back a bit now) I think the white pages site had a good map
system, with zoom in and out facilities.

http://www.whitepages.com.au/

Hope this helps.

Cheers

While I've been replying to you, I've just turned 31. ahhhhhhhhhhhhgggg.

No, it's ok, I've just checked in the mirror and I've not got any more wrinkles
yet. Phew!

As you were folks.

Cheers

www.street-directory.com.au - it's internet version of Melway and Sydway (www.ausway.com.au) - the best street directories availabel in those cities.

Speaking of Melway, anyone know what happened to it ? I know that my links, plus many from other websites, suddenly stopped working one day...
