Soooo for the past few days I have been extolling the virtues of British Airways and their one way fare to Manchester @ $1020.00......at least that is what it still was today at about 1pm...........so I get on there tonight.......with my credit card in hand and it has gone up to $1577.00.....

Anybody got any better ideas?? I did love their excess baggage system too and you have to take it all into account.........which I did after much thinking and at 8pm they let me down the bar stewards!!

End of February 2011 at the cheapest fare available.......I was sooo looking forward to BA and their 10 bag allowance, cannot believe I missed out by a few measly hours.....

Only the first extra bag is £32, then next 9 are £72 each.

Anyway, try Etihad.

Etihad shows $1001 one way at the end of February. Wednesdays and Fridays are a tad more expensive.

If you want excess bags though it will cost you an arm and a leg so is that essential?

Yes thanks it was a major plus, the excess on Etihad is $50 USD per kilo vs the pretty cheap(ish) bag rate on BA.....I will keep checking the BA site, I could kick myself for missing out on such a bargain!!
