Let's have a little straw poll.
Are you from the smog riddled terraced housed mining towns of the North (Anywhere North of Birmingham for these purposes) ...
or

I was born down south, lived there til i was 24 then came to Manchester to be with my mancunian hubby!
Prefer it up here now (apart from shite weather) so now going in search of sun, fun and the biggest challenge of our lives.

I could take offence to the North/South divide remark it's a huge generalisation
FWIW I think it's a good post from the heart and pulling no punches. Sure it's easy to rip into the guy and yep 4 posts and a flippant remark about poor northerners could be construed as a little like trolling.
Fair go mates, he's having a bad time and there's nothing like a good rant to make you feel better

Born in the North and have lived in the North.all my life.....unfortunatley i live in a 4 bedroomed house with garage and a conservatory.......so where does that put me me....will i like Oz or not ???
