Mrs JTL found this site after we had already done all the application, and we thought damn, if only we'd found this site 6 months ago.

I found it from the Go Matilda site.
I was looking for advice on shippers and currency exchange and boy did this forum help.
Not to mention have found loads of new friends and its helped Hubby LOADS with his homesickness etc to see that he isnt the only one feeling it and learning ways of dealing with it from other peoples experiences.

By other expats who were going home, they recommended it as a site that was great to see how bad britain is, in other words knock off our rose tinted memories of the green and pleasant land. The couple that recommended it are now back in UK and loving it

I yahooed - never been the same since....
Met some great people - some who have become good friends in reality; as well as having fun and gaining lots of advice and support.
I have been through two visa applications in the last 12 months :scared: - 457 and 136 PR, and now that I have PR (apart from going on Validation trip to NZ) it has come to the end (thank god)
So now is the time to say a big Thankyou and promise no more stupid questions..

We were put onto it by Sue5665 who helped us a lot with information.
She and her family had just returned to the UK while we were in the earlier stages of our quest to emmigrate.
What would we have done without this site ?
