OHS Courses

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what is involved in getting qualified in Helth and safety in oz. Is Uk qualifications recognised? and who in oz does training for these qualifications, how much and how long are they?

Cheers,

Tony.

Re: OHS Courses

Hi
Nebosh general certificate is the equivelant of Cert IV in OHS if you bring your certificate and something that outlines the elements of the course ( I had to get the details from the website) TAFE which is the equivalant of technical colleges over here will recognise your english quals but you will have to do about 4 modules as the OH &S act varies in each state etc
hope this useful
Ian
