OK here are the rules:

After this we need a thread for the official what I DO like about Oz Thread.

I'll go first with my entry below. At the end of a month we can see how many pet hates and loves there are on each thread

Us too, theres nothing that bothers me that much here! There are some things we found a bit strange at first, like people going shopping barefoot, but im used to seeing it now.
Overall, i think we've adjusted very well into our new country :)

Those big fat noisy exhaust pipes - why do you want your car to be as noisy as possible - its about as mature as pegging playing cards to your bike frame so your push bike sounds like a motorbike but as you are 6 years old its ok...but when you are in yr late teens/twenties....just SAD

Rove McManus & his fat blonde sidekick - is that show meant to be ironic by being deliberately unfunny - there can be no other explanation

Midnite Oil - how bad are they with that baldie frontman who is possibly the worst singer of all time

Steve Bracks - mr do nothing - the first thing he should do is get his adenoids fixed

Aussie trucks - a tortoise gets off the mark quicker

Blokes streaking their hair - aussie blokes...it makes you about as macho as Julian Clary...why do you do it??

I'm sensing a little angst, Hawk. I'll have to agree with you about the Pokies, but I don't go anywhere where they have them so they don't really bother me day to day.
