I think he gets a bit more in bonus but it isn't guaranteed. If you are coming on a perm visa then on that salary you will be eligible for centrelink help which will ease the burden a bit. A lot of people manage on that salary and with careful budgeting and you working then you should be fine.

Thanks for that link - however i know that if we were to come over we would not want to become a burden on the state. if we come over we will pay our way and work hard. my partners always moaning on about the people coming over here and getting loads of benefits, but thanks for the advice, every bit helps

You'll get Family tax benefit (like child allowance in the UK only means tested) and maybe some help with rent (if you're eligible for FTB and again it's means tested). So tell him it's not scrounging, it's just tax benefits and help with costs of bringing up kids.

Hourly rates can differ...know most are on $25/30 per hour and heard talk of some on up to $40 per hour. All say the same though...If you can make up to $1500.00 in a week you are doing well.
Hope this answers a few questions for some.

Thanks!

There is plenty of building work out there, it's just not advertised so much. Have a look for posts by Aston Man who is a brickie in Perth, he'll tell you how it is.

Anyone got a steer on earnings for automotive Business Managers?

And are there any differences in the F&I referral or sales processes?

Hello just wondered if anybody could help ; my husband works for virgin media as an installations technician. We are looking at all options at the moment but does anybody know of, or can recommend companies that may be willing to sponsor him. His job title in australia is communication linesperson.
