not much fun at the weekend when all they see and hear is mum and dad squabbling because of someone coming to look at the house.
i wish i could pick and choose the viewing times and days (would choose midweek when the kids are in school), but, its a buyers market and they call the shots.

Our estate agent said they dont work after 5, so I insisted they arrange the viewing around their times, after all they are getting a good percentage of the sale. Let them earn their money thats what I say.

Its a little bit below asking price, but an opening offer. We shall try to get them to go up a bit.
Its has become obvious this evening that everything is becoming more of a reality and we are talking of booking flights and things now!!!!

We to had an offer just over a wk ago bit lower than what we wanted but hay at least we are on our way now, the housing market as dropped so its better than a validation trip we thought.

They have upped the offer this morning, still not as high as we would like but we've told them that we are 99% sure we are going to accept.
We have 2 more viewings, today and tomorrow. We shall wait until we have completed those before confirming we are going to accept.
So we are nearly there, shiny new visas to come soon.

I would grab it, we have just had an offer on our house £18500 under the asking price and we are off in 4 weeks so we accepted it. The way we looked at it was it would cost us money to leave it empty, the buyers have no chain and we have never had the money in the 1st place.
