Talking Offer accepted on House

Finally after 4 months we have had an offer we could accept from someone who has already sold their house, we had to drop the price by £15000 before we got any serious interest.
So hopefully we wont be gazumped (spelling?) and we should be landing in Perth beginning of November!

Good luck to all those still trying to sell.

Cheers
Ross

Well done, but thats a massive drop in price!! :scared:

Only hope we can get a decent offer soon for our house. Our capital investment hinges on it.

Absolutely great news, but what a drop!!!! Just a thought, if prospective buyers know you are emigrating do they see that as an opportunity to make money on the deal, to your detriment, as they realise you are more anxious to sell than is usual??? I wouldn't be a bit surprised if estate agents are behind this. I think that in the majority of cases, this is the final big "stress" factor we have to go through.Putting mine on market as soon as visa is in my hand, hopefully in couple of weeks.
