Default OFF TOPIC : Laptop Batteries

Sorry for posting somthing completely off the Oz topic, but i was hoping someone technical here can help me.

My laptop battery, a lithium job, is it best to store it (when not going to be used for a while) charged or flat?

Many thanks for any help.

Pete.

The technical answer would have to be YES.

Hi Pete

Don`t know if this helps but our lap top until recently was hardly ever used in fact it was used a couple of time and left in its little bag and when we came to use it just plugged it in and it was fine.

However we do have a spare just in case!!

Hi Pete

Won't make that much of a difference but the definitive answer is flat.

Cheers
