Sorry, not I! Had very good intentions, but holidays were not as relaxing as I had hoped...
No sunning myself on pool loungers for me..

Sal1705 - I am all set to come on Thursday, but it seems that there will only be you and I there.......
Do you want to cancel - I'm guessing you could spend the evening profitably rubbing lotion into your tan and sorting your holiday snaps?
Anyway - we SoccerMoms can always discuss book on Wednesday
Let me know

Not surprisingly I haven't read the book! If that isn't a prerequisite of coming to a book club meeting, then I'm more than happy to come for a catch up/ gossip, especially as I probably won't be at Castle Hill tomorrow. But then as 22B says you probably have better things to do than think up another book that we can all not read!

OK, I think that seems sensible in the circumstances - I will try to do better next time (if there is one).

Hi
Was planning on popping along to say hi, but OH is away that night, so wouldn't have been able to stay that long anyway as it turns.
Will catch up with you all soon!

Re: October Book Club - Wuthering Heights
Just a suggestion - I have just bought a book to read today- yes, I know, don't faint - it is Dawn French's autobiography. So if anyone else fancies that for a change and at least I will be able to join in the conversation when you talk about the book!!
Might not be everyone's cup of tea but as I said, just a suggestion.
If I read it quickly, anyone is welcome to borrow it whether it is the book club book or not, will let you know when I have finished it.

Hoola, of course you can, I started reading it last night but was so tired after a week at work that the words were going blurry!!
It seems pretty good from what I read so far and she writes in an amusing style - what you would expect really!!
