Both my wife and I are considering NZ emigration and I would be interested in hearing from Brits in NZ as to the sort of NZ salary that provides a comfortable lifestyle.

Whilst realising that the salaries are quite a bit lower but with no mortgage, do both partners still have to work in order to feed and provide for a family of four, whilst having something left over for some luxuries once in a while.
