Default NZ: Websites, these look good for accomodation

Hi Chaps,

These websites look to be really good (ie cheap) for booking holiday accomodation in NZ.

http://www.wotif.com - really cheap hotels all over NZ (Aus is on there as well but I didn't look at prices), they only have dates on the site for the next 4 weeks. An example of price is Citylife Auckland for $99 (room rate).

http://www.kiwistays.co.nz/ - different type of accomodation, cottages, flats, B&Bs, farmstays etc.

Now of course I haven't booked anything through them yet but if anyone has and has had a bad experience please let me know.

Cheers

Hi,

no personal experience I'm afraid, but from memory someone posted on here quite recently that they had used the whatif site for all their holiday accomodation and recommended it highly. they seemed to book rooms from the like of internet cafes on thir trravels and maybe arrive at the accomodation half an hour later. I had a look at it my self and the rates were very impressive although i don't think i would risk something so last minute with three kids!! Hope that helps a bit!

Used Wotif.com and received great rates. Only within 14 days though.

Found travelnow.com good too.
