been told not to bother even applying for ozz as we as hgv driver and florist are not listed ,is it any better trying to apply for new zealand or is the lists just the same?getting down trodden in the bid to move on since we are now more finnancialy able to move and at 42 time is moving on too(and retraining is not an option).HELP!!! :scared:

I don't think that NZ is easier, although their list of 'skilled employment' is different. Having looked, HGV driver and Florist are not there.

that's why I thought a business visa may suit you. for Australia you only need to meet certain turnover /employment of Australians etc for 1 year out of the 4 year visa, and extensions are apparently possible.

You can also buy a business that meets the criteria and run it. Saves building it up form scratch. it's not quite this siple but you get the idea.

As soon as you get you residency you can do what you like.

Seems like a pretty good option for a businessperson with few other options to get there.

Depends how much you want your dream. As I said before , Booklet 7 will advise you on the requirements

have been lookin at florist forsale and seems to be in budget any ideas how that would work??
