I am a NZ citizen who is engaged to an English man, we wish to move back to NZ to live. Does anyone know if we have to apply before we go back or can we just turn up at Auckland airport with some proof (eg engagement notice, engagement ring receipt etc) of our intent to marry within the next 9mths.

Also does he need to get a medical, police report etc done before we leave here.
