Default NZ PR App. Form - Work Exp.

Have just received the App. Form for residence in NZ and am concerned about completing the work experience section. My partner, who will be the principal applicant, has been sole proprietor in a computing services company for the last 18 years, that is, not an employee. Does anyone know how we will fair under the Gen. Skills category as the form is geared towards employees of companies.

We want to work as employees in NZ not have our own business.

Any information especially if you too have this predicament would mean I might be able to sleep at night without wondering!

Your partner's level of experience should be fine. Your submission should demonstrate that he has been continuously involved in the planning, organisation and control of discrete company activities.

Maybe you could include accounts, references from clients or your accountant, tax returns, prospectuses etc?

Best wishes.
