If the points structure stays the same, at 29 points I don't think many folks will be
emigrating....

Speaking as a person from within NZ I doubt it. The pass mark has been around 25 for years and NZ is trying to encourage skilled migrants.

I've also seen nothing in the press - usually you come across anything like this in the Dominion/Herald etc.

Ha! bad joke I know, but it seems very unlikely, the pass mark went up from 24 points to 25 points in March I think.

I've just been to the Emigrate Ex. no-one said anything about 29 points, including NZIS.
