Nursing homes' cash crisis
The UK leads Australia follows and makes a bigger dogs dinner?
NURSING homes have warned they will be forced to replace nurses with less-qualified staff, skimp on quality food and furnishings, and rob their capital building funds to cover day-to-day operations.
New figures show the cost of running a nursing home has outstripped the growth in government subsidies by at least 6 per cent over six years.
That failure to keep pace with costs has left the nation's nursing homes with a shortfall of $248 million this year.

Is that why you married your good lady (nurse isn't she) so you'd have someone to look after you in your old age. Looks like you just made it in time as going by your current posts your going senile rapidly.

Ever had a bed bath off a Nurse , well worth keeping one .
Australia has big mental health problems could be down to the quality of refugee that enters the country , to want to live here is proof of a mental problem?
