Can anyone tell me roughly how much all the assessment fees etc cost for nursing in Oz?

You need to go to the ANCI website and look at their assessment fees. There are two ways to apply. First as a straightforward application which costs about $500 ish. Second, apply to the nursing board in which ever state territory you plan to go to. Wait to get your licence (which you'll have to get anyway) and then apply to the ANCI using the second form for nurses who have registration in Australia. This then reduces the fee to $150 ish. These fees change so you need to contact the relevant nursing board who have links via the ANCI website. Also do a search on here under 'nurse' and you'll get loads of information. Hope this is of some help. For me it's listed out below:
Application to Queensland nursing council for licence $144 approx
Application to ANCI $150 approx
Verification from NMC to both the above boards £34
This does not include getting certificates verified etc.

Approx a year ago I paid $aus530 for ANC assessment, £34 to NMC, $aus85 (I think) to NSW nursing board.

Just done this recently, and it cost us $540 (Ithink) or thereabouts. Worked out at £240 roughly. And then of course NMC cost £34 for transcript of training and verification of registration. Plus around £30 for certified copies, but that differs from place to place. We haven't registered in WA yet so that will be extra.
