NSW sponsored 190 visa
 

Hi Everyone ,

Our visa agent said we qualify for a nsw 190 visa (if ielts band is good enough) but have to live and work in that stat for 2 years , just wondering if you can move stat after a few month or what the consequences of doing this would be , as the price of renting in Sydney is shocking ( currently awaiting my IELTS results ). and we want to go to Brisbane .

Any information would be great .

There are currently no conditions imposed on a 190 visa that require holders to work anywhere in particular, or at all. If the minister forms the view that an applicant had no intention of living in the nominating state or territory this could be regarded as having provided false or misleading information, with possibly adverse consequences.

Hi am also on the 190 trail to Nsw.Just got ielts results back not quite enough so resit on 28th it's so hard do you have to get 8 in all parts?Hope you get better results fingers crossed for you. Fiona
