Default NSW Driving License - 457 Visa

Hi,

I am in Sydney on a 457 Visa.....I am currently driving on my UK driving license and am unclear if I must get a NSW license. The RTA website states you must get one within 3 months if you have a permanant visa, not sure if this means I can stick with my UK license as I have a temp 457 visa???

Any help welcomed.

Cheers James

A person on a Visitors Visa does not have to abide by the same rules as PR, and would be allowed to drive a private vehicle on a valid CURRENT driving licence from their own country, for as long as they have a valid visitors visa.
