NSW Birth Certificate Query.
Dear All,
Our newborn baby is under 3 months old and we need to Amend the Given Name of a Child Under Three Months Old as per NSW BDM rules.
The baby was born in hospital and we inserted an extra "e" in baby's name by mistake.Actually it was not a mistake, its was the way names from different languages(Arabic,Hindi etc.) are not always correctly spelled in English.
Now they require any of the following for this ammendment:
Baptismal Certificate
Bank book or Statement Account
Child's passport
Medicare Card
Family payment letter/advice
Letter from child's medical practitioner confirming correct name
Medicare option may not be available as we have inserted the same incorrect spelling in Medicare enrollment form as well. Please suggest which of the above options will be easier to obtain so that this name ammendment can be done ASAP.
Cheers,
Syed
