We too struggled to find a decent restaurant, but I highly recommend the Seagrass Brasserie in Huskisson. Excellent!

We didn't venture that far north too often (too much to enjoy in and around Sanctuary Point) but we did go to an eccentric winery on the way to Berry. Food was good and the wine borderline, but the old fellow behind the bar was from the Basil Fawlty school of inn keeping. He kept telling these two sweet old ladies the most bawdy jokes he probably learnt in the Navy during Nation Service.

That's the place! The man's barking, but very entertaining. I thought the whole area was delightful and much like Devon, where I hail from. I do recommend the home made apricot chutney they sell there. I finished the last of the stash I brought back with my pasty at lunch.
Anyway, this thread has drifted slightly off topic :o |
