Smile Notts/Derby - Is There Anyone Left Here To Play With?????
Hi all

Just wondering if there is anyone left in Notts/Derby areas that we can meet up with. All our friends have gone off to the other side of the world and we need some new friends to play with until we bugger off to the other side of the world too!!!! (and also to play with when we get there!!!)

If anyone is left in this lovely part of the country do you fancy a meet up in the near future? Probably early March if possible as it gives people plenty of time to arrange sitters etc if needs be.

Let us know who's up for it and I will try and think of somewhere in the middle of everyone to meet up unless anyone has any ideas.

We are in Nottingham and are Jo, Paul & Andrew. We are going on a student visa (OH doing bakery/hospitality management at Gold Coast TAFE). Hoping to go end of June after Andrew's GCSEs.

its the same in sheffield ... theyve all buggered off to aus ... highly inconsiderate of 'em if you ask me
arrange a meet up and we will do our best to get to it - that one at burnt stump where we met you was a great place but i imagine its pretty grim in winter

Lol we are still here anyone fancy an evening meet up as we struggle to chat with a 20month old and 5 year old fighting for our attention.

Hi all

Happy New Year!!!

Now we've sobered up, shall we try and arrange a meet?

What about Saturday 26th January as a date?

If TiredWithTwins can make it, will need to arrange a middle Nottm/Sheffield pub. If not, and only us from Nottm, can arrange something more local.

Let me know whose interested and if date OK I will try and think of somewhere to meet.

LolandLisa, whereabouts in Nottm are you? We are in Arnold.

we could meet on 26th but it would be late afternoon as daughter is at dancing class until 2.30 - dont mind driving down your way, just make it somewhere easy for me to find off the m1 and we will be there ...

I am at work till 4.30ish. Could we meet around 6pm? What about Old Moor Lodge just off Junction 26 (Ikea turnoff A610 but towards Nottingham).

Is this OK with everyone?

flippen eck! just been reading this thread & what a none event. you will be pleased to know, us at the other side of the world are more successful. We have had about 8ish meets in the last 3mths!
