not sure what to do
hi
we are hoping to move to canberra late nov 07. we are coming on a STNI visa with my husbands profession in IT. I am a qualified nursery nurse and currently working as a registered childminder.
Does anyone know whether childminding is popular in Oz or would I be better looking for work in a day nursery.

Hi,
I am also a registered childminder in the UK and am heading to Queensland in August. I have had a good look at childminding in Oz and it definitely is possible to carry on with it over there. The Canberra government website showed links to this website www.ncac.gov.au which hopefully will help.
