North Rocks
Hi
I'm looking for any information on the North Rocks area of Sydney.
Safe neighbourhood? Good transport links? How long to get to the CBD? etc.
Thanks

Re: North Rocks
try www.131500.info for public transport times into the city.
The tenants prior to us in our house moved there, but have no idea what it is like.
Good luck.

Re: North Rocks
Hi Daz
North Rocks is a fairly middle class suburb of Sydney, with a current house price median of $576K. Predominantly home owners with families living in brick freestanding houses ranging from 10-40yrs old. In between Parramatta (Western Sydney's CBD and Sydney's 2nd largest centre) and Epping (soon to have the Epping-Chatswood rail link) it's a safe family suburb, well serviced with schools, a local large shopping centre (Westfield- which was recently expanded) and down the road from some of Sydney's most well known and expensive private schools- Kings Boys and Tara (girls)
Though North Rocks has no rail line, it is serviced by CBD buses on both the nearby M2 and North Rocks Rd. When buying, watch out for homes under power lines (they're the cheapies on the websites) as they radiate out from Carlingford's substation.
It depends on your individual needs and lifestyle, naturally, but North Rocks is a nice suburban part of Sydney. Lots of greenery and parks too. Oh, and a very popular and lovely golf course, if you're into that (Muirfield)
