Question North NSW - Nice & Not so nice areas

Hi

Not applied for visa's yet, (so no guarantee), doing abit of research at the moment on suitable areas for my family,

top of my list is northern nsw, coastal (or not to far from a nice beach)

Can anyone give me any advice/info on nice areas & areas to avoid

we would ideally like;

somewhere safe for children
lots for children/families to do
not too isolated/not too busy
good state schools (most important)
work not a million miles away (oh would do anytype of work he's not fussed)

If anyone has experience of living in, or lived in or around these areas I would like to know why they are good or not good.

Thankyou

Rebecca
